Maths

In Room Six we have been doing a online Basic Facts programme for mathematics that was designed by Marg Wright. Every day before we do our maths, we have to do the basic facts for each letters. We do a different letter everyday. The letters go from A to J. Here are some of the basic facts that I have finished.

In Room Six we have been brainstorming for our persuasive letter writing. Our topic is homework. We are against it. This is what we have done so far.

Coby … I think we  should not have homework because when we do it, it takes around half an hour and then the next day when we come to school we’re tired and we will not be able to concentrate .  Plus we learn all of the stuff at school that we have to do for our homework so there really is no reason for homework .I have one problem with homework, when I get home and I don’t want to do any work like homework, I what to do something fun like play with family and friends.

Andrew… Every day we are at school for 30 hours So we do not need homework we learn more then we need for a week
SO NOT HOMEWORK!!!!!!!!!!!

Ben…I think that homework is a waste of my time and that it is stupid. I think that children need exercise.

Liam… I think that homework gets boring because we do everything at school and what we don’t finish we have to do for homework.

Advertisement

In writing we had to do an advertisement for persuasive writing.  Me and my buddy Blake made our one about Poop Emoji slippers.

Our teacher Mr Davey wanted us to put in some persuasive tools in our advertisement.  I chose to say what  slang and a metaphor is. Slang is like saying  you better get'em quick  and a metaphor is saying something is something else and here's an example that I used in my advertisement
 there flying off the shelves.

In Room six our teacher Mr Davey asked people if they wanted to sign up for the league tournament. We had the league tournament on Wednesday. On Friday we had to create a DLO about it here is my one.

Topic

In Room Six our teacher Mr Davey got us to make a drawing or slideshow about one of our subjects that we had been doing this year. I did about our gala day. Here is my presentation. 

Northern stargazer

In class last week our teacher Mr Davey got us to buddy up and make a slideshow about a sea creature . Me and my buddy Blake made our slideshow about a Northern Stargazer.
